i had this thought that has been hanging over my head all day yesterday..”in fullness of time”…when an idea beckons,yield on to it i’d say.so, last night i did a rough draft of the poem. i can’t simply let today past without putting the final touch to it. here i am, half past ten in the morning and beating my dealine before work(need to be at work at 1:00).
today, i woke up with feeling of appreciation and thankfulness . a morning abound with sunlight, sky is blue, green lushes all around me. i can’t helped but bask at the beauty of GOD’s creation.the first thing that comes to mind is this christian/ gospel song. i first heard it when i was on my early 20’s. the time in my life when i needed a hand to help me up,a gentle push to keep me going,a light in what seems then like a never ending darkness.i realized i don’t need to look around that hard, all i ever need is to look up….
wouldn’t it be exciting to know what
people thinks of you? be that fly on the wall to see them in those unguarded
moments. so, like the saying goes “curiosity kills the cat”……here I am conducting an experiment on what people around me,colleagues,friends and families, thinks of me…..i might have a surprise of a lifetime seeing myself in the eyes of others.
i asked each one of them to describe
me in one word and DO NOT under any circumstances patronize me as i am a big
girl and i can take whatever it is they might throw my way. after all, i asked
for it, didn’t i???.

young,er, lady…

until you chewed it, digested it and

find it difficult to follow blindly.everything has to have a reason, a logic
for me to do it, otherwise it is pointless, don’t you think?

what an eye opener. i learned three things. one, i got a family who must have
love me to bits to stick with me regardless of the aforementioned qualities.
two, got friends who, more or less, wouldn’t want to hurt my feelings. three,
got colleagues who wouldn’t want to cross me.
